To kick off this week's show, Joshua Holland and Liz Preza recap a wild ride in the Democratic primaries. Just a week ago, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders seemed indomitable, and now a strong night for former Vice President Joe Biden has reversed that narrative. But there's still a long way to go.
Then we're joined by Terry O'Sullivan, director of the Center for Emergency Management and Homeland Security Policy Research at the University of Akron, to talk about the Coronavirus pandemic. While O'Sullivan cautions that there's no reason to panic, he says that the flow of reliable information from credible public health officials and a strong public health system, both of which are in short supply in this country, are vital to containing an infectious disease outbreak.
