John Minko on 32 year career at WFAN & calling St. John’s games ”Sports and Hip-Hop with DJ Mad Max”

Thank you to WFAN's 20/20 sports anchor and St. John's University Men's Basketball play by play announcer John Minko for calling into my show for an interview! We started with his time at Butler University's college radio station, his 32 year run at WFAN, and the start of his play by play announcing for St. John's Mens Basketball games. He talked about his time working with Mike and the Mad Dog as well as meeting the legendary coach Lou Carnesecca for the first time. He ended giving his thoughts on what St. John's basketball may do next season. Salute to John Minko on his 32 year career and what he did for sports radio.
