This week, we turn to Matthew 5:7 to learn about . . . "The Good Life".

In this lesson, we learn:

According to Jesus, the merciful have the “good life."
Mercy is displayed in at least two ways:
- Willingly withholding deserved judgment.
- Kindness and care for those in need.
God blesses the merciful because he himself is merciful.
We see God’s mercy most clearly in Christ.
Because mercy is such a significant trait of Jesus, mercy will be a significant trait for his followers.
By the work of the Spirit, let’s grow in being merciful.
