The King and His Kingdom - Announcement of The King

In this lesson in the series on Jesus and his kingdom, the announcement of the king is explored.  Using Matthew 3:1-12 and related scriptures, several points are discussed, including: (1) God uses a relative to announce Jesus, (2) the Good News was different than the people expected, (3) the Good News is worthy of loud proclamation, and (4) Jesus calls us to change.  The lesson concludes with the encouragement to truly seek God’s kingdom first.
