According to the Nation Crime Information Center, there were over 609,000 reported missing persons cases in our country in 2019. It's a real issue in our society. Many of these cases go unsolved and we must ask ourselves.. why? It is understood that Police and Authorities must wait 24 hours before recognizing it as a "Missing Person" and an Investigation can commence. It is the policy of many law enforcement agencies to wait a day \before accepting a report... that is lost time and can put the missing person at rick and even in a life threatening situation.
