19. Perilous Times

Last Sunday, I had the opportunity to speak during adult Sunday school, and I spoke on 2 Timothy 3:1-9. The Apostle Paul warns Timothy about how dangerous enemies of the gospel will present themselves to the church.

Some enemies are easily identified (Roman Catholicism, Mormonism, etc.), while others are much more dangerous, such as people (Joel Osteen, etc.) who infiltrate the church and spread half-truths and, in the process, pretend to be followers of Christ while living in open defiance of God's commandments. 

Lastly, I challenge listeners to consider what they will do in these perilous times. Are you to continue living exactly the same way? What changes do you need to make in your life?
