Firm Foundations - Repentance and Baptism

This week Pastor Neli reminds us that repentance isn't about shame—it's about grace. Just as the prodigal son turned back to his father, we are invited to turn from sin and walk toward God, who runs to embrace us. Baptism symbolises this transformation, burying the old self and rising in new life with Christ. No matter where we’ve been, God’s grace gives us a fresh start. Let us embrace the journey of walking with Him, knowing He never leaves you and His love never runs out. 

What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it? Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life. - Romans 6:1-4 (ESV)
