Passage: 2 Corinthians 5:18-6:1-13
In a world of geo-political conflict and persecution, we have become accustomed to mass movements of people seeking asylum and refuge in foreign countries, and we see both the intense heartache this brings for hurting people and the heated debate it brings for political bodies. In the kingdom of God, the immigration policy is simple and clear. God provides reconciliation and refuge through King Jesus' and he offers his redeeming grace in the gospel to any and all who will come in faith. Those who have received that refuge and been welcomed into his kingdom, Jesus now sends as his ambassadors with the ministry and message of reconciliation to lead others out of bondage to sin and death and into the kingdom of light and life.
