Alien Earth Double Feature S1E2 & 3 ”Mr October”/”Metamorphosis” (Review) | T Watches A Scary Movie

The Alien franchise is certainly alive and kicking and testing out a new space on the small screen with a television show set 2 years before the original film. Tonight after a bit of a break, I'm back looking at episodes 2 & 3! |

 

"Mr October"

Tensions build between corporations and the Prodigy company as a crashed spaceship is investigated by a Prodigy medic, Joe D. Hermit, and soldiers. After discovering bodies infected by an alien entity, they encounter a Xenomorph, which separates Hermit and forces him into a perilous chase. Meanwhile, Prodigy's CEO discusses the goal of creating a rival to artificial intelligence with the new Hybrids, and Wendy, a Hybrid, seeks her lost brother, only to have a secret revealed that confirms her identity to a shocked Hermit. |

"Metamorphosis"

Wendy rescues her brother Joe from a Xenomorph, who then decapitates the creature, while the rest of the Lost Boys and their overseer, Kirsh, retrieve valuable alien specimens from the crashed Maginot vessel. Meanwhile, a conflict brews between different factions, including Boy Kavalier and the Weyland-Yutani company, for control of the recovered aliens and their research, hinting at a future struggle for power.
