- One of the great rewards of hunting, beyond the kill itself, is the physical, mental, and emotional growth that comes out of every hunt. Comparing it to professional skiing, Lisa puts particular emphasis on failed attempts on the slope and on the trail, saying that each failure presents a teachable moment and an opportunity to become better in the next attempt.
