#2- Expat Eddie Rides Again:
After an extended absence, our expat anti-hero (and self-made millionaire) Expat Eddie returns with another amazing “boots on the ground” adventure of the kind you might think that can only happen to him. But remember, Eddie’s way off the gringo tourist trail and this is Latin America, so if something it happens to him it just might happen to you too…so pay attention…
#3-Latin women and the way they dress:
Many American ladies (Gringas) comment that when Latinas dress up, they really pour it on… often way too sexy and provocative, even scandalous for Gringa sensibilities. Stateside ladies say that what Latinas get away in Latin America that would be called “slutty” in the states. I hear comments of that type all the time. Meanwhile, Latinas say just the opposite- that gringas are jealous and hate the completion… and man is the competition tough!!
#4- The ubiquitous Latin “Jealousy” gene- PART 3:
In the states, jealousy is considered a maladaptive affliction that needs to be managed. Meanwhile down in Latin America, jealousy is directly equated with love. It’s a conundrum that begs the question, who’s got it right?
#5- What’s up with the fact that Latinos can rarely guess a gringo’s real age and vice versa?
How can it be that both Latinas and Latinos can frequently often underguess your age by 10 or even 20 years?
#6- Is the girl next door at the Chicken bus stop a Senorita or Senora?
Today you’ll learn a few things you really need to know about those particular, somewhat sticky, designations..
