Imminent Existential Threat

Recently, the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) released a report about the discrimination and violence against religious minorities in India. In that report, they say "It would not be too far-fetched to say that the circumstances in which we found our research subjects living was one of imminent existential threat."
