Pastor Doug preached today’s sermon entitled “The Making of Us” from our series A Journey with John. Today’s sermon is John 21:1-17 as we near the finish of John. Pastor Doug shared a quote: “We make mistakes, mistakes don’t make us. Failure is the path to boundless confidence in God.” The lessons the disciples learned were part of the path to confidence that God planned for each of them. Pastor Doug emphasized that apart from Jesus nothing happens but failure.
