Durga sahasranamam is a Mantra that describes the 1000 names and qualities of Goddess Durga. Each of the 1000 names refers to one of her traits. Durga protects her devotees from all negative forces. She combines the prowess of 3 Goddesses – Lakshmi, Kali, and Saraswati. Chanting this Mantra regularly brings the Goddess’ blessings. It bestows peace, courage, positivity, and fame. One can achieve the 4 virtues of life –dharma (righteousness), artha (wealth), kama (fulfillment of desires), and Moksha (salvation) -by reciting it.
