The Ghost Who Saved the World

One ordinary person can change history, for good or bad.  And those are only two examples *that we know of*.  How many heroes—or villains—are there throughout history who we don't know about?  I would like to present a case of one such unknown hero, who changed the course of world history...and who still haunts his ancestral home.
