Nahum 2:1-13

The prophet gives a vivid discription of the coming destruction of Nineveh in 612 B.C. at the hands of Nabopolassar and the Babylonia army. Utter destruction has been decreed and the overrunning flood will dissolve the palace and its walls. The old lion, Huzzab, is taken. The Oasis of the East has fled away.
