Rocky Franchise (1976-2006) Recap and Review

More than 30 years after the release of the first film, siblings Aubrey, Genia and Brittany recap and review the entire Rocky film franchise  on this episode of The Wright Perspective Podcast. All six films, Rocky (1976), Rocky II(1979), Rocky III (1982), Rocky IV (1985), Rocky V (1990), and Rocky Balboa (2006) were written by and star Sylvester Stallone.

 

Following an explanation of their matching outfits for the video audience, the siblings pick a voting symbol (05:40), recap all 6 movies (15:26), and then spend time discussing Rocky’s relationship with other core characters including Adrian (35:00), Paulie (47:35) and Mickey (01:13:00).  After that that, Aubrey, Genia, and Brittany discuss highlights and lowlights of each movie including Rocky (01:24:00), Rocky II (01:31:56), Rocky III (01:39:00), Rocky IV (01:45:25), Rocky V (01:47:19) and Rocky Balboa (01:50:10), and then vote to determine whether the franchise is a classic from The Wright Perspective (01:58:00)
