020. Brave Enough to Own Your Embarrassment and Keep Your Power

They say we have to own our lives right? The good and the bad. What about the embarrassing? Have you ever thought about owning your embarrassment? It is a strange concept I know. But it has some awesome effects.

Let me put it a different way, what if you could stop giving other people your power? Interested now? We give away our power so often that we don't always see that we are doing it. But we give it away and give it away and then wonder why we feel so powerless.

And as humans we often make others feel dumb for simply being human. But they can only make us feel about it if we let them. Being human is a wonderful, amazing thing and it is full of less than graceful encounters. (with floors, doors, sidewalks, etc.) And mishaps in all their forms. (wardrobe malfunctions, sudden illness, and on and on.)

Own your humanness. Own the silly that makes you happy and own the embarrassing things you may do. And then you will have the power of being yourself. Unapologetically. Right where you are.
