S5E31- Star Trek Fan Films (with The Treksperts Roundtable’s Keith M. Sedor)

Keith M. Sedor, host of a myriad of podcasts, including ‘The Treksperts Roundtable’, ‘Just Pour The Milk’, and ‘The Computer Talk Radio Nerdcast’ beams aboard to help cite what are the best and worst Star Trek fan films and fan-created web series to date!

Which ones had great CGI effects and ideas but were let down by atrocious production values, nonexistent acting and generic scripts? Which ones would had probably worked better as audio plays or might as well and been scene reenactments for a college student film class? And which ones were really intriguing regardless if anyone is a huge Star Trek fan or not? Which ones do we truly consider canon (especially the ones that starred the famous actors repressing their famous roles in the saga)? What do they contain that Star Wars fan films often lack? Are the J.J. Abrams produced reboot/alternate mirror universe films basically ego-headed big-budgeted fan films nowadays? And more reminiscing on some important fandom that has helped keep this franchise alive and well for sooooo long (unlike what Paramount thinks)!
