People of Peace || Sent Out By Jesus || Matthew 10:1-15

In Joel Snibson's first talk at St John's, he looks at our calling as followers of Jesus to be people of peace.

Jesus called his twelve disciples and gave them authority to heal and drive out evil spirits. Did these disciples feel ready and prepared to be sent? Simon the Zealot- an anarchist, and Matthew the Tax Collector- a public servant! An unlikely couple of people, and not exactly a dream team. But Jesus sends the unlikely - he sends us.
