Chupacabra

In Puerto Rico, in 1995, the first sighting of what is now known as the Chupacabra was witnessed. A lizard-like or dog-like creature that is said to suck the blood out of livestock. Seen in other Latin American countries as well as Mexico and the United States, it seems to have a change in appearance in each location. So what exactly is the Chupacabra? A dog? A lizard? An Alien?
