Is AI Ruining Our Memory? Google’s Controversial Move & The Quest for a New Atlantis

In the first part of today's show, we looked at whether the Internet and AI are affecting our memory and what the science says. Then we talked about Google's controversial decision to delete its policy against using AI for weapons or surveillance. Finally, we explored the strange case of a flooded quarry, a mysterious millionaire, and the dream of building a new Atlantis.

Today's unpopular opinion was "Movies have declined in quality over the last thirty years."

In the second half of the show, we asked 100 humans to name a popular genre of movie. Later, we saw a Connecticut woman charged with stalking after allegedly hiding a GPS tracker inside a teddy bear she mailed to her ex.
