Due to Mary FioRito being away on business, this is a rebroadcast from Monday March 11th, and will officially air on the radio Monday March 18th. Thank you.
On this Monday with Mary FioRito, she has with her two Sisters from Little Sisters of the Poor, Sister Dorothy and Sister Carolyn. The Little Sisters of the Poor is a congregation whose mission is to provide aid and help to the elderly poor. This year, they have much to look forward too, with celebrating their 150th Anniversary. Both Sister Dorothy and Sister Carolyn share some of the history behind the Little Sisters of the Poor, as well as all the work and help they’ve done to provide care and support to the elderly poor and even their own personal history with joining the Sisters. Also, since they are celebrating their 150th Anniversary, the Sisters discuss what is going on for this celebration.
