25 | Why Satan Wants You to Think Your Storm is From God

Ever heard or said something like, "God is taking me through this hard season to mold my character" or "God gave me this battle to fight to make me stronger?" Have you believed that God is the reason why you face temptation, sin, sickness, poverty, illness, loss, grief, etc.? Do you question if He is truly absolutely good and only good? Wondering how to overcome the storm you're in?

 

I don't know about you, but I really believed that God took me through hard seasons to test me and make me stronger. This belief isn't biblical! It's also a tactic from the enemy to make you question God's goodness and love for us. This is a tactic Satan uses because he doesn't want you to see his tricks! If Satan can get you to think the storm you're going through is from God, he can weaken your desire to fight it, decrease your faith in God, and ultimately separate you from God.
