Today's word of the day is "self·ish " I am talking about people who are self-centered, not being selfish in the way that you "take care of yourself."

A selfish person is described as someone who is devoted to caring "only" for oneself. They are concerned primarily with one's own interests, benefits, welfare, ect. regardless of others. Loving someone else is just the opposite, which they can not do.
Here are some signs of selfish people:
A selfish person is unaware of the imbalance in a relationship. They take, take, take giving nothing back. AND they are shocked when this is pointed out to them.
They are extremely manipulative and will never consider a com-pro-mise.
They use their manipulative skills to get others on their side. They will use tactics such as being perfectly charming while trying to find out information about others & then accuse others or discredit them. They are master manipulators and hide their dark side very well.
Watch out for these signs:
Manipulative people simply don't question themselves. They don't ask themselves if the problem is them. They always say the problem is someone else.
- Selfish people plot & scheme against you
They are really not interested in you except as a vehicle to allow them to gain control so that you become an unwilling participant in their plans. So when shit hits the fan, because in my experience it will, don't be surprised and do what you can to get back control of your life.
They are not satisfied with being #1, which is all they want. They also want to put you down.
- Selfish people are uncaring towards others-
Remember they are master manipulators and hide their real character very well, pretending to care about others but it is only for what they are receiving from others.
- Selfish people find sharing and giving difficult
Maybe you know of a selfish person but you have some doubts because that someone shows a caring side. ITS ALL FAKE! Caring, sharing & giving are not an easy thing for them to do and those actions will show through. They always want something in return.
People who are selfish cannot and will not accept constructive criticism. Their huge egos just can’t process that constructive criticism is for their own good.
It is very difficult for them to realize that they are wrong.
Being selfish is not only characterized with self-centeredness but also with false sense of entitlement.
They expect to be continuously rewarded even without doing anything. This is where they might take all from you and use you, your ideas to move ahead.
Because of their way of thinking, they expect other people to do things for them. When you see that this is happening, do not let them have what they want.
It’s all about control, so do not give it to them.
I "try" to be thankful for all those difficult assholes/people in my life, they have shown me exactly who I do not want to be.
1st are thoughts and prayers go out to Sargent Justin Dodge was trying to protect parade-goers who had gone around barriers when he moved close to the fire truck and it rolled over his leg, trapping him. His left leg was run over and he had to be extracted from under the vehicle.
Plus individuals, total of 12, on day of win & parade were shot.
There has always been idoits / stupid people, But now they have no regard for human life. And what their selfish actions might do to another. It is very sad that in and during a happy time it has to ruined for innocent.

Keep'em coming is what they did. There was an estimated 750,000 people that hit the streets of Denver to celebrate the Nuggets winning the NBA championship. After a 47 year wait, nuggets threw down to celebrate their Denver Nuggets.
Jokic misplaced his MVP trophy but it has been found.
Christian Braun brought a WWE belt to the Nuggets championship parade.
