If we’re honest, forgiveness is a subject we’d usually rather avoid. Forgiveness is unnatural, uncomfortable, and in some cases very complicated. Plus, we all know that nursing a grudge can feel so good! However, Jesus insists that while forgiveness may be challenging, it’s simply too important for us to avoid. So in today’s sermon, we’ll unpack one of Jesus’ most powerful teachings about why forgiveness matters and we’ll reflect on what it means for us.
