US Close 6 Jul 16: Brexit fears reignited, Dow off Europe markets lower.

US sharemarkets fell for the first time in five sessions on Tuesday, as the uncertainty over Britain's decision to leave the EU weighed on sentiment. Energy stocks fell on the back of the weaker oil price. The S&P Energy sector lost 1.9%. The majority of the weakness was in financial stocks. JP Morgan lost 2.8%, while the financial sector closed down 1.5%. The Dow Jones index fell by almost 109 points or 0.6%. The S&P 500 index lost 0.7% while the Nasdaq fell 40 points or 0.8%.
