European Parliament Vote Could Have Significance for Irish Road Haulage Sector - Harkin

Irish MEPs are being urged to vote against a proposal, that would allow further changes to new EU rules for road hauliers. 


A number of compromises have been reached that deal specifically with Irish concerns. 

However, a vote in the European Parliament today could pave the way for further changes. 

Independent MEP for Midlands North-West, Marian Harkin, outlines some of the issues which have been agreed to date, that would benefit Irish truck drivers:
