On 17 July, EY hosted an exciting event on Quantum Computing / Post-Quantum Cryptography & Security at Frankfurt’s TechQuartier. Quantum computing has the potential to transform industries and is rapidly gaining relevance in today's technological landscape. The disruptive technology is leveraging the principles of quantum mechanics and holds the promise of solving complex problems that are intractable for classical computers. At this event, we took a deep dive into the technical details, explored real life use cases and much more – and recorded the most important parts for EY FinTech & bEYond. In a lively panel talk, Christopher Schmitz, EMEIA FSO FinTech Leader at EY, discusses with José María Moreno, EY Wavespace Madrid Leader, Ulises Arranz, Senior Quantum Expert at EY Spain, and Carlos Abellán, Co-Founder and CEO at Quantum Computing Startup Quside, high-level insights into this groundbreaking and still developing field.
