Market Close 11 Nov 22: Aussie market hits 5-month high

The Australian sharemarket surged by 2.8% and hit a 5-month high on Friday after US inflation slowed more than expected in October. Tech, property and retail stocks rose strongly, while a weaker US dollar and bond yields helped push commodity prices and miners higher.
