6/2/21 - Elijah obeys God and remains by the brook until it dries up. God then sends him to a widow woman of Zarephath, a gentile city, to save her, her son, and Elijah from the famine. During times of great darkness, deception, and wickedness God called and equipped two great prophets to service. By the power of God they wrought great miracles, including the first resurrections found in the Bible. They challenged the prophets of Baal, and boldly withstood the wicked kings and leaders of Israel....

During times of great darkness, deception, and wickedness God called and equipped two great prophets to service. They challenged the prophets of Baal, and boldly withstood the wicked kings and leaders of Israel. We pray the Lord will strengthen and encourage our hearts through the study of their lives.
