SEASON 1 | Episode 5: The Real Deal

John the Baptist lived a very strange life. He lived in the desert for a while, ate lots of honey, and probably a few too many locusts. Then he came back to Jerusalem, where he challenged the masses with fiery sermons, baptized many in the Jordan River, and quickly earned the ire of King Herod. In this week’s episode, we join John in his prison cell and discuss his doubts about whether or not this Messiah whom he had spent his entire life pointing to was the real deal.
