Episode # 1642 - The Daughters Of St. Paul Back For Lent

The Daughters of St. Paul are back with us, Sisters Bethany and Jackie who have been on as guests and now as show hosts, filling in for Father Anthony Bush.  Since their last visit, the Sisters have been on, as Sister Bethany says, many, many adventures in the last few weeks.  With these adventures in mind, Saint Joseph is talked about, seeing how the Sisters share a story of how they recently had car trouble and how he helped them out from them praying to him.  Also, with Lent being around us, the Sisters discuss topics on and of Lent, including some of the things that they gave up, as well as can help people with Lent this year.  Some are words of comfort for all to hear for Lent, including Praying the Rosary too.  Towards the end of the show, the Sisters, being “Media Nuns” Sister Bethany say, discuss technology, as we all have cell phones nowadays and how technology and gadgets are all around us, raising a point Father Anthony has shared, how we all rely on it, but should take time to stop for a bit if technology is consuming up someone, and possibly give it up for Lent, or as Sister Jackie says “a blockout time.”  For more information on the Sisters and The Daughters of St Paul, visit online at:  http://www.daughtersofstpaul.com and  http://www.pauline.org.
