Maternity With A Newborn and Then It’s Back To Work We Go

Morgen and Trisha are joined by new mom, Allison, as they delve into all things maternity leave. More importantly, the struggles of returning to work after maternity leave. Let’s say the week and especially the night before returning to work involved many mini breakdowns and tears.

They discuss common misconceptions like people thinking maternity leave is like vacation when in reality, it is exhausting, and wonderful.

Both Morgen’s marternity leave with Auggie, and Allison’s with Harrison was during Covid making them both feel pretty isolated and limited on getting out and doing things with the babes.  

There are so many emotions with having a new baby but us mama’s got this. One day and one maternity leave at a time.
