Luke 10.38-42 Mary sat at Jesus' feet while Martha worked. When Martha confronts Mary, we hear in Jesus' gentle rebuke how he invites both women into discipleship and relationship with him. 

 

Over our summer teaching series Meeting Jesus we'll see Jesus' encounters with all kinds of people - the rich, the poor, men and women, the powerful and the down-trodden. In each meeting, we'll see he is able to meet people as they are so they can see him as he is.
