Carol McNamara travelled recently to Portroe to meet Teresa Collins  who was born in Sean Ross mother and baby home in Roscrea and she talks about her life. Teresa is part of a group called “We are still here” and is trying to help people get their health records and files, some of whom are from County Clare.  The Commission of enquiry on Mother and Baby homes final report is due to be published on the 30th of October 2020 but official death figures, published at the end of July 2020 by the Commission show that 1,024 “illegitimate children” died at Sean Ross Abbey.
