FINE TUNED COSMOS PART 2; THE MOUSE AND THE ELEPHANT

We conclude our study of cosmic fine tuning by a further reading from Chapter 4 of "What is Man? Adam, alien or ape?" in which we ask what exactly is fine-tuned about our universe. We follow the claim of Britain's Astronomer Royal, Sir Martin Rees that only six physical quantities need to be 'just right' for a universe to be life-supporting. For the benefit of those without a science background I explain what these quantities are, and why they are important, by using homely and humorous analogies. Stay tuned!
