The scriptures speak of the obstruction of light from the sun. At times, it seems that our experiences as individuals and as church are like traveling during an eclipse. Our doubt and despair threaten to obscure the light, yet the light of Christ continues to burn brightly if we allow it to. The darkness of strained relationships, work stresses, health issues, family concerns, and church scandals can try our patience. Yet, there is help. Why stay in the Catholic Church? Here's some reasons why!
