Ryan Grim is the Washington DC bureau chief for The Intercept news network.  Previously he as the was DC bureau chief for the Huffington Post and twice was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize, having received it once. He contributed to the groundbreaking investigative project on heroine treatment that eventually changed federal and state laws. The story, headed by Jason Cherkis, received the Polk Award.  He has also worked on the reporter staffs for Politico and the Washington City Paper, is a contributor to the Young Turks Network and cofounded the independent progressive publishing house Strong Arm Press.  Ryan is the author of "This is Your Country on Drugs: The Secret History of Getting High in America" and his investigative reports can be found on The Intercept at TheIntercept.com
