Apollo 10 1/2 and Waking Life

If life is but a dream, what if you had to draw over every single frame of it in order to make a movie? A nonsensical question to be sure, but on those lines this week we are looking at recent SxSW premiere APOLLO 10 1/2: A SPACE AGE CHILDHOOD, Richard Linklater's newest rotoscoped project, as well as his first effort in that arena WAKING LIFE. Together we talk about philosophy, the striking visuals, and of course, TV sitcoms of the 60s.
