Days of our Lives viewers are in for a refreshing change, as new co-head writers Paula Cwikly and Jeanne Marie Ford bring their fresh perspective to the long-running soap opera. The duo, who took over from former head writer Ron Carlivati, are set to steer the storyline towards more emotional depth, beginning with the bonding moment between Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) and Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) over an upcoming adoption. In the coming months, viewers can anticipate the return of Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) and Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) and the poignant farewell of John Black (Drake Hogestyn). A notable transformation is also expected in EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), who is set to become a gentler and more reflective character. 

DOOL fans are also looking forward to a Halloween episode that advances the plot, fewer resurrections, and a stronger emphasis on family ties, such as the tender moments shared between Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) and JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss), and Maggie Horton's (Susanne Rogers) supportive gesture towards Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) on the NBC Peacock soap opera.
