US Mid-Session 21 Dec 17: US markets tread water despite passing of tax bill

US markets are treading water despite the passing of the key tax reform bill this morning. American shares are still near record highs, have lifted for nine straight months and are up 25% in 2017 (Aussie market is up only ~5%).
