Market Close 28 Apr 21: ASX lifts on weaker than expected inflation

The Aussie market responded positively to today’s weaker than expected March Quarter inflation numbers as it gives the RBA less reason to lift rates sooner. Most sectors rose with financials, energy and property among the standouts. Miners fell even as iron ore hit record levels.
