This week on Expedition Self, we’re going to delve into the human experience of ‘Goodbye & Hello’.
On first blush, life consists of endless days, filled with whatever draws your interest and puts food on your table.
But in reality, we spend much of our time adjusting to the changes brought on by something or someone entering or leaving our life. By choice, through birth, death, or happenstance, there is often some person, event or change weaving its way in and out each sunrise and sunset.
How is this experiential process of entering and exiting useful for our Growth work? How do we conduct ourselves when we are the ones saying ‘hello or goodbye’? What can we learn about being human through the inevitable emotions that surface when dealing with a jolting change?
Sam will explore the many kinds of ‘comings and goings’ you likely deal with and also reveal some you don’t even recognize in that category. You’ll have an opportunity to think about how you uniquely respond to these events and what you might take away from them to expand the scope and field of your life’s activity.
During this potent hour, you’ll be invited to think about change through the lens of those who enter and leave, how you handle moving into and out of experiences that draw your interest, and what shows up for you when you’re called to leave something behind.
