Jesus’ Strange Lack of ”Prophetic” Political Call-Outs

John the Baptist denounces Herod Antipas for marrying his brother's wife and it costs John his head. Why didn't Jesus denounce Herod or Tiberius Caesar for his bloodthirsty corruption or pedophilia? John's behavior was in line with Old Testament prophets like Elijah calling out Ahab and Jezebel but Jesus doesn't seem to do this. This clearly didn't earn Jesus any points with certain factions of 1st Century culture warriors. What was Jesus doing?
