Today begins the Christmas Season Series, titled: Jesus Christ is the Reason for the Season. Part 1, Song Recommendations: Goodness of God by Jenn Johnson, and God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen.  Scripture: Isaiah 40:1, 3, 13&14,18-31 and Luke 1:5-24. Part one, the focus is on: 1) John the Baptist’s birth. 2) Not being snuffed out by God. 3) Remaining righteous in the sight of God. 4) Following God’s commandments and requirements. 5) Sins to be mindful of: the LGBTQ+ lifestyle and abortion are both sins according to God. 6) Repentance is a must. 7) Do away with false idols.
