Vikings, Game of Thrones, Superheroes, Wizards, Demons, Angels: Storytelling Religion

Richard Rohlin's observation to Jonathan Pageau about the relationship between fantasy and the medieval world continued to stick in my mind. This has been haunting me while watching both Vikings and The Last Kingdom and the reason I liked one more than the other was articulated by Tom Holland and Dominic Sandbrook in their podcast 'The Rest is History".
