We Are Sick Of It

Alvin Bragg is prosecuting a a man in hopes to find a crime and that should be illegal. The quote "Show me the man and I'll show you the crime" is often attributed to Lavrentiy Beria, the head of Joseph Stalin's secret police in the Soviet Union. Beria was notorious for using his power to fabricate evidence against political enemies and to extract false confessions through torture and intimidation.

The quote implies that anyone can be found guilty of a crime if the authorities are determined to find evidence against them, regardless of whether or not they have actually committed a crime. This approach is fundamentally wrong and violates the principles of due process, presumption of innocence, and equal treatment under the law.
