The task of unravelling the hundreds of pieces of EU employment legislation from a post-Brexit Britain is a massive challenge that could have major implications for workers in Ireland and the rest of Europe. That’s according to the Sinn Fein MEP Lynn Boylan. The Dublin MEP is on the Brexit working group of the European Parliament’s Employment and Social Affairs Committee. She says the removal of key EU laws from the British employment system could negatively impact thousands of workers who travel between the Republic and Northern Ireland every day to work.
