Her writing and research has appeared in multiple publications, including the New York Times and the American Historical Review. Holding a Ph.D. in History from the University of Oxford, her latest book is titled Necropolis: Disease, Power, and Capitalism in the Cotton Kingdom, published by Harvard University Press.
